About Me

Committed to Safety in Education

Trilborne Ltd is a consultancy dedicated to building health and safety compliance in educational settings as well as ensuring rigorous asset based maintenance schedules are in place.
With 25 years of experience, I work closely with schools to perform audits and implement action plans designed to safeguard the wellbeing of students, staff and visitors and save you money through better planned preventative maintenance, reducing costly failures. I produce actionable and realistic plans for your teams to execute. I hold an Enhanced DBS and continue to update my training in the KCSIE, Academy Handbook and Ofsted and ISI Inspection Frameworks.

With over 20 years of experience in education and operational management, I specialise in helping UK schools ensure they meet all necessary site compliance and health and safety requirements. Having held senior leadership roles in schools and education services, I understands the complexities of maintaining a safe, efficient, and legally compliant educational environment.

As a former Business Manager in the state and independent education sector and Operations Director at Civica UK Ltd., I have successfully overseen large-scale site developments, managed multi-million-pound budgets, and led cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

My extensive experience and background in health and safety, risk management, and legal compliance, combined with a deep understanding of the unique needs of educational institutions, having been instrumental in hundreds of compliance system rollouts, making me ideally positioned to guide schools through the compliance audit process.

I offer tailored audits that assess key areas of school operations, from health and safety standards to facilities management, helping schools identify gaps, reduce risks, and enhance overall safety and efficiency. My commitment to integrity and growth ensures that each audit is comprehensive, actionable, and aligned with best practices in the education sector.

Personally, I live in Reading with my partner, too many children and four dogs! I am an advanced motorcycle rider and tutor and love to tour Wales, Ireland and Europe; when I have time!

I am a Governor at a secondary school in Slough and focus on Estates compliance.
